ANDOVER youngsters were delighted to see the card they produced for the Queen proudly displayed as she appeared on television last week.
The card created by Rookwood School pupils to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was show on BBC, ITV and Sky news on Friday.
The pupils, aged from two to four years old, together with their teachers, decided to make the monarch a card with a picture of her crown decorated with a fingerprint from each of the children and staff.
Nursey manager Rachel Osmond, said: “The children at Little Rooks had been looking at pictures and learning about the Queen and her upcoming celebrations in their lessons and wanted to send her a card. We are going to continue our Jubilee celebrations later in the year with our own street party and other Royal events.”
