A STREET festival in Andover Town Centre is to be held in honour of her majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee this summer.
The event will take place on Friday, June 3, during the extended bank holiday weekend.
A rich medley of food, music, dance, performance and art will create an activity trail for all the town’s residents to enjoy.
From sampling different cultural dishes at food stalls along the high street, to enjoying a line up of music, dance and creative workshops at venues throughout the town centre, the festival is an opportunity for people to come together to celebrate and recognise their shared heritage as residents of Andover in 2022.
The event is being organised by Andover BID/InAndover, in partnership with Chapel Arts Studios and Test Valley Arts Foundation.

As well as sourcing professional entertainers, the organisers are inviting local businesses, community groups, schools and colleges to contribute to the event by running stalls or performing on the day.
Shelley Coburn, events coordinator at Andover BID said: “We want this event to truly represent the people of Andover, and for it to be shaped and owned by them.”
