Dear Editor,
May I through your paper ask the Prime Minister to remember to tell doctor surgeries to go back to normal.
I will be first to say that the NHS have done an amazing job over the Covid period but can anyone tell me exactly what doctors at the surgeries are doing?
Going past several surgeries in Andover they appear to be empty. If you have a problem you first have to relay your personal symptoms to the receptionist, they then get a doctor to call you back they then say we don’t deal with that anymore you can go and see the chemist or worse still in some cases did not see the person who ended up getting seriously ill, making more work for hospitals to deal with.
So please Boris tell the surgeries we want back to how it used to be I don’t think people should be diagnosed over the phone unless they have some magic way of seeing through the telephone receiver.
