Chris Lynn, member of the Rotary Club of Andover, said: “It’s a great thing for Andover to have an event to collect money for Ukraine.
“This is really important to Ukraine at the moment. There are a million people who have left their homes in Ukraine. Rotary, being an international organisation, will make sure the money goes to the right hands.
“We have received a licence from the Test Valley Borough Council to organise this event in the town centre.

“Leader of Test Valley Borough Council is coming to help us. We have also written to all the councillors and have asked them to come down as well. We have also asked Winton school (Winton Community Academy) if they can arrange volunteers for the event.”
