A MAN and a woman were run over by a van after a fight outside a pub.
Police say a man assaulted another man outside of the Roebuck Inn in Main Road, Marchwood.
He then got into a van, which was parked on Main Road, and drove towards the man he had assaulted and a woman.
The man and woman, both in their 50s, were hit by the van, police say.
The woman suffered minor injuries and the man suffered injuries to his face and knee. He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
The incident took place at approximately 9.45pm on February 25.
A 61-year-old man from Cosham has now been arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, criminal damage and assault by beating.
He has been released from police custody but remains under investigation while our enquiries continue.
A police appeal said: "We appreciate that this incident was some weeks ago now, however we believe there is still one key witness that may have helpful information who we would like to speak to.
"From speaking to people who were in the area at the time, we believe there was a woman outside of the Roebuck Inn at the time who witnessed the incident taking place.
