A BUSINESS association has announced plans for monthly networking meetings for small businesses.
In a March workshop, Overton Business Association (OBA) called on representatives from businesses, sports groups and churches to explore opportunities for better networking.
The sponsorship of local events, and potential collaborations were also discussed.
OBA committee member Martin Fielder said: “Overton has always had a strong community spirit and the OBA is determined to support all efforts to keep this alive.”

The OBA has since discussed further plans during an AGM held on April 5
Topics included how to offer work experience to students from Testbourne Community School, with the employment of local people being regarded as high priority.
The OBA plans to hold monthly networking meetings: the first is due on May 5 at 7.30pm in the Red Lion Pub, Overton.
All businesses in and around Overton, member or not, are welcome.
