A MAN has been arrested and a woman taken to hospital following a collision in Ludgershall on Tuesday evening (April 19).
Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision at about 9.30pm, involving a car driver and a pedestrian in Drovers View, Ludgershall.
Nearby residents reported seeing a police cordon blocking off the area.
The female pedestrian was taken to hospital to be treated for serious but not life threatening injuries.
A 19-year-old man was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and drug driving. He is currently in police custody.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured dash cam footage of what took place.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) added: “We were called at 21.15hrs on Tuesday 19 April to an incident in Ludgershall.
“We sent a critical care car and a double-crewed land ambulance and conveyed one patient to hospital by land ambulance”.
