WORK is now underway on the building of a brand-new adventure golf course at Charlton Lakeside.
Places Leisure, which will run the facility, showed its followers on Facebook a “sneak peek” of the course when work started earlier this month.
The new facility was approved following feedback from users, residents, and visitors to the lakeside. The new Iron Age themed adventure golf course will have 18 holes.

Adventure golf specialist Greenspan has been appointed to carry out the works, which will last for 16 weeks, ensuring the facility is open in time for families to enjoy over the summer holidays.
Cllr David Drew, portfolio holder for community and leisure previously said it will be a “great addition” to Charlton Lakeside.
