AN ANDOVER man has been fined more than £600 for failing to assist police with a crime involving an Audi driver in London.
On October 5 2021, Stephen Matthews, of Beckett Road, was asked by the Metropolitan Police to give information relating to the identification of an Audi driver thought to have committed a crime, but failed to do so.
At Bromley Magistrates’ Court on April 20 2022, Matthews was handed a £660 fine.
He must also pay £100 in costs and a £66 surcharge, while his driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.
