A PUB in Andover is applying to refurbish part of its popular roof terrace.
The John Russell Fox on the High Street has submitted a planning application to Test Valley Borough Council, asking for permission to replace the existing timber acoustic roof terrace screening with acoustic glazed screen.
The Wetherspoon pub’s proposal would see glazed screens erected around the outside of the garden area, on the north, south and east sides of the building.
Discussing the application at a planning committee meeting earlier this week, Andover Town councillors gave no objections to the application.
Offering her support, Cllr Barbara Long said: “The roof terrace does seem to be very popular.”
The application will now be considered by TVBC. You can view it in full at view-applications.testvalley.gov.uk/online-applications using reference 22/00938/FULLN.
