AN AFRICAN Grey parrot that was missing from a home in Andover has been miraculously rescued with the help of a brave man who climbed on top of a high roof to get hold of the bird.
The parrot named Jenson has been rescued after Clint Shearer, who climbed on top of the roof of the building to safely bring him back home.
In a video shared on Facebook, Clint is seen approaching Jenson on top of the roof without support.

Natalie Clark, who had been praying for the safe return of her bird, was overjoyed to get her parrot back.
“We have Jenson!!,” Natalie said in a Facebook post.
Clint is Natalie’s cousin.
“I can't thank my cousin Clint Shearer enough! This was incredibly brave and pretty stupid, but he caught him!
“Thank you to everyone who was part of the rescue operation, the power of Facebook! It can be incredibly positive! The radio and the papers, thank you for getting the word out! The phone calls with sightings, texts, calls, and the neighbours who called us with the evening sightings, thank you, I am so happy.”
Natalie Clark has been taking care of Jenson for the past three months after collecting him from Safehaven Parrot Refuge.
She is a volunteer for the charity.
“I have been safe-housing the bird and bringing him back to full health,” she said.
“At the moment, he's still looking a little bit worse, and he's got a plucked tummy. But he's got new feathers and they are quite distinguishably white rather than grey.
“He's got a female friend at my house.”
Jenson escaped through the backdoor of Natalie’s house when it was just open for a brief second. Once he got outside, he panicked and didn’t really know where to go.
