A HAMPSHIRE-BASED law firm has appointed a new marketing expert to join its team.

Parker Bullen Solicitors, which has offices in Andover, Romsey, and Salisbury has appointed local talent, Karen Clarkson, as marketing and business development manager.

Clarkson, who will be based in the Romsey office, originally graduated with a BA (Hons) in Advertising and Marketing Communications from Bournemouth University and has since built up over 12 years of marketing and branding experience working in local businesses across the South West.

Karen Clarkson joins Parker Bullen from the Southern England-based law firm Warner Goodman where she had risen to Associate member of their team.

She had previously worked for the business as Marketing Manager, leaving in 2015 to add to her experience by working for the Hadland Care Group in Bournemouth.

She then returned to Warner Goodman in 2016 in a promoted Associate role. During her time there, Karen managed their rebrand which launched in 2019, and was then nominated for the LawNet Marketing and Business Development Initiative of the Year.

Clarkson has also worked for the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry as membership services manager, helping businesses to raise their corporate profile and make new contacts.
