The Pantaloons are back for outdoor theatrical fun and mayhem this summer in Beech Hurst Park, Andover
During the pandemic, The Lights kept the love of theatre alive with summer outdoor performances. These proved so popular that the venue has continued in 2022, and is delighted to announce not one, but two, outdoor dates for the summer.
The wonderfully versatile, The Pantaloons, will be back on Saturday, July 9 with two epic performances of The War of the Worlds at 2pm and 6pm.

They invade the stage in this funny yet faithful open-air adaptation of H G Wells sci-fi classic as they use musical instruments, puppetry and enthusiasm to recreate deadly heat-rays, giant fighting-machines, squidgy tentacled Martians and interplanetary warfare on an epic scale. The chances of success? A million to one.
In a change of pace The Pantaloons will return on Saturday, August 6 with Much Ado About Nothing.
There’s plenty to shout about in this clever take on Shakespeare’s timeless summer comedy of masks, music and mistaken identities.
The boys are back from war and it is time for celebration, but devious Don John plans to spoil everyone’s fun with his perilous plots. Will young lovers Claudio and Hero fall foul of the crafty criminal? Will bickering Benedick and Beatrice ever admit that they actually like each other? Find out in this fast-paced, physical and funny new production.
All these outdoor shows will take place at Beech Hurst Park, Weyhill Road, Andover. The performances are at 2pm and 6pm and all tickets are £12. Audience goers will need to bring their own seating and come prepared for any weather because the shows will go on.
