AN ANDOVER man has denied assaulting another man by beating him in the town.

Paul Lawther, of Bridge Street, is accused of beating a man in Andover on January 27, 2022.

Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on May 12, the 41-year-old pleaded not guilty.

He was given unconditional bail until his next hearing at the same court on November 7.
