POLICE were called to assist a broken down horse box on the the A303 last night (Monday, May 30) - only to discover it was uninsured.
Officers attended what they thought would be a “quick job” helping the broken down horsebox on the A303 at Andover.
However, it turned out to be uninsured.
Posting the saga to Twitter, the Hampshire Roads Policing Unit added: "Then the friend who came to pick them up brought another uninsured car!
"THEN one of the recovery trucks broke down. Not all calls are as quick as you think!"
