A MAN has been charged with drink driving following a two-vehicle collision near an Andover roundabout on Monday evening (May 30) which left another person injured.
At 9.57pm police were called to reports of a two vehicle collision on Newbury Road, Andover.
A 63-year-old man from Andover suffered minor injuries.
Hampshire Constabulary has now confirmed that Pawel Tworek, 39, of Vetch Way, Andover has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level is above the limit.
He will appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court on June 16.
The incident led to traffic disruption near Enham Arch roundabout, with residents being warned to avoid the area if possible while emergency services attended.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Andover firefighters were called shortly after 10pm yesterday evening following a two-vehicle RTC on Newbury Road.
No persons were trapped in the vehicle, but the crew provided one casualty with Immediate Emergency Care before they handed over to paramedics.
“Firefighters made the scene safe before returning to station shortly after 11pm.”
South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
