A NEW gym has opened in Andover following an official cutting of the ribbon by Cllr Rebecca Meyer

The gym was opened fully within two months of getting the keys. Owner Jake Lemon said: “Seeing everyone enjoy themselves and our new facility really has made all of the hard work so worth it! It has been a dream of mine for many years to create a place for people to train well & better themselves in a supportive & friendly atmosphere.”

The gym has been started by two Andover residents. Jake, 23, is the director, a soft tissue therapist and personal trainer. Meanwhile, Steve Guyatt, 60 year, is also a soft tissue therapist.

Deputy Mayor of Andover, Cllr Rebecca Meyer, who officially opened the gym, said: “This is a wonderful facility that has three functions in one. As it is located on the Walworth Industrial Estate, it is another amazing addition to the estate, as it is particularly ideal for all those working on the estate.”
