Pupils at Tidworth’s Wellington Lions Primary and Wellington Eagles Primary in Ludgershall took the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee to their hearts.
Both schools decorated their walls and windows with images celebrating the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, and made decorations for their Jubilee playground parties. They began the parties by singing the National Anthem.
Lions pupils were joined by the Mayor of Tidworth on the school field which included a Maypole, and children from each year group were invited by Tidworth Town Council to design the town’s banners which were flown from lampposts on Penning Road.
Eagles pupils also dressed up to represent the decades of the Queen’s reign.
