Test Valley’s motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network in the next fortnight.
Neither of the closures will have a massive impact on drivers, with delays only expected to be under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 7.30pm May 23 to 6am June 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes).
The work will take place on the A303 westbound and eastbound, Picket Twenty, exit slip road closures and will involve Galamast construction carriageway resurfacing works, diversion via local authority network.
And a further closure will begin over the next seven days:
• A303, from 8pm June 6 to 6am June 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Picket Twenty to Longparish, Lane closures for signage repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
