A BMW driver from Andover has been forced to pay more than £500 after speeding in Dorset.
Angus Scott Tomlin, of Quicksilver Way, Andover was travelling on the A338, Spur Road between Cooper Dean and Blackwater junction, Christchurch on November 20 2021.
The speed limit on the road is 50mph, but the 21-year-old was driving his BMW at 77mph.
He was caught by automatic cameras and found guilty of the offence via the single justice procedure at Weymouth Magistrates' Court on May 25.
Tomlin was handed a £384 fine, as well as costs of £90 and a £38 surcharge - making a total of £512.
His driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points.
