AN ANDOVER business has marked the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by planting a tree outside its premises.
RH Technical Industries planted a Liquidambar styraciflua tree.
A spokesperson for the company, based at Regents Court in Andover, said: "We hope this tree will brighten up the premises’ entrance for many years to come. Surrounding this tree, we will also sow some wildflowers once the roots have settled to create a small natural area to encourage wildlife like our struggling domestic bees. 35 UK bee species are under threat of extinction as their habitat is increasingly removed.
"We hope all our staff and customers have a wonderful extra day of holiday to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s fantastic achievement."
