POLICE have confirmed that a body was found in a residential Andover street after officers and forensic investigators were spotted at the scene yesterday morning (June 14).
Members of the public reported seeing high police presence behind the Town Mills pub on Tuesday morning.
Police have now confirmed that they were attending a scene in Waterloo Court, where a man's body had been found.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.05am yesterday morning (Tuesday, 14 June) following a report that the body of a man in his 40s had been found in Waterloo Court, Andover.
"Officers attended. Next-of-kin have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
