Man breached court order
A SHIPTON Bellinger man has pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order.
Darren Fitzgerald, of Gilberts Green, admitted to contacting his victim when he was prohibited to do so by the order imposed in January this year.
Magistrates in Basingstoke adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared and the 54-year-old will be sentenced on July 12.
Drug driver handed fine
A DRUG driver from Andover has been handed a fine after admitting to driving while more than five times the legal limit.
On December 12, 2021, Delaney Foster, of Arena Close, drove along Bilbao Court in Andover with 181ug of cocaine product Benzoylecgonine in a litre of blood.
The limit is 50ug.
The 38-year-old pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on May 30.
A £120 fine was ordered.
Magistrates also ordered payment of costs of £45 and a £34 surcharge and issued a disqualification from driving for 12 months.
Motorist hit with points
AN ANDOVER man has been fined for driving above the speed limit on a major road.
James Taylor, of Mead Hedges, was driving a Vauxhall vehicle at 35mph on the A272 Petersfield Road at Bramden on August 12, 2021.
There was a 30mph limit in place.
At Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on June 6, the 55-year-old was handed a £66 fine.
He must additionally pay a surcharge of £34.
His driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.
Failed to give ID to police
AN ANDOVER man has been ordered to pay more than £800 after he failed to give police information relating to the identity of a driver.
Peter Brown, of Bishops Way, failed to give the information about a Mercedes driver, alleged to be guilty of an offence, to the Chief Officer of Police for Hampshire on June 1, 2021.
The 55-year-old admitted to the offence at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on June 6 and was handed a £666 fine.
In addition, he must pay costs of £90 and a £66 surcharge.
Magistrates also disqualified Brown from getting behind the wheel for six months.
