Residents in Upper Clatford were left bemused by a 'weird' power cut on Saturday night.
Homes across the village experienced waves of low power and intermittent outages which left them without lighting for much of the evening.
One resident said: "Some of our appliances were working, others including lights were dead. Weirdest power cut I've ever seen."
Engineers from Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks were called to deal with the issue and had most homes reconnected shortly before 10pm.
A second unplanned outage was also reported in Andover near Icknield Way and Turin Court, with crews working into the early hours of Sunday morning to resolve the issue.
The latest update says: "We aim to restore your power by 2.30am."
It is not yet clear what caused either fault, or whether they were connected, although a yellow weather warning covering parts of Andover was in place earlier in the evening.
