ALL lanes were blocked on the A303 westbound between Thruxton and the A338 Salisbury Road, Cholderton this evening (Wednesday, June 22) due to a road traffic incident. 

The closure is reported to have began at 5pm.

AA traffic news reported that the incident involved two cars colliding.

Delays of approximately 22 minutes were expected.

However, shortly before 7pm all lanes reopened with delays gradually easing from then. 

The Advertiser has contacted Hampshire Constabulary for comment.
