BRITISH Heart Foundation Andover is holding a volunteer appeal in the hopes of attracting new staff.
The shop is holding the appeal as many of their former volunteers have moved on into paid work, leaving the shop short-staffed.
There are a variety of positions available, including testing donated electronics to see if they work, working on the shop floor and helping customers, serving customers on the till, and working in the warehouse.
Tracey Page, manager of BHF Andover, said: “There is something for everybody, so the more the merrier.
“We’re really short of volunteers at the moment, but it’s a nice shop and a happy team.”
The BFH Andover charity shop sells a range of pre-loved and new items, ranging from clothes and shoes to toys and books.
Cllr Iris Anderson said: "British Heart Foundation is very important charity. It's like it says, it fights for every heartbeat.
"I am feeling very sorry for lots of charities as volunteers are very important to them. Volunteers play a big role in every way, but they are like gold dust to get hold of."
Those who wish to volunteer can go to myvolunteer.bhf.org.uk to find a list of all the opportunities available in Andover BFH shop, or ring the shop at 01264 252380.
