DRIVERS in and around Test Valley will have nine National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M27, from 9pm October 22 2018 to 6am June 29 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 5, slip road closure for M27 Smart Motorways, diversion via Highways England network.

• M27, from 8pm October 17 2019 to 6am July 1 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 5 to junction 4, carriageway closure for M27 Smart Motorways, diversion via local authority network.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A303, from 8pm June 30 to 6am July 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound and westbound, Picket Twenty, slip road closures for Hampshire County Council works, diversion via National highways and local authority networks.

• M27, from 8pm June 30 to 6am July 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, Chilworth Roundabout to junction 13, carriageway closure for M3 concrete barrier scheme, diversion route via National Highways and local authority network.

• M27, from 9pm June 30 to 6am July 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 5, slip road closure for M3 concrete barrier scheme, diversion via national Highways network.

• M3, from 6am July 1 to 6am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to M27 eastbound, Lane closures for M27 Smart Motorways.

• M27, from 8pm July 1 to 6am July 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 14 to 12, link road and carriageway closures for M3 concrete barrier scheme, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• M27, from 9pm July 5 to 6am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 2, slip road closure for maintenance work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm July 7 to 6am July 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound and westbound, Overton to Barton Stacey, Lane closures for barrier works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
