A DRIVER is suspected to have lost control and struck the central barrier on the M3 while having alcohol and drugs in their system.
The incident happened earlier today (July 3) when police were called to a collision on the M3(N) J4a - 4.
The Hampshire Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "The vehicle is suspected to have lost control and struck the central barrier.
"The driver had alcohol in his system and failed a roadside drug wipe. He has been arrested. The vehicle has been recovered."
