TWO people are being treated for serious injuries following a collision on B3400 on Friday (July 8) morning, it has been revealed.
One of them, a woman, has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries, according to South Central Ambulance Service.
The injured woman has been taken to a hospital in Southampton on an air ambulance.

The crash involving a lorry and a campervan on the B3400 London Road at Wells-in-the-Field near Whitchurch occurred at around 10.35am.
A spokesperson for the South Central Ambulance Service said: “We received a 999 call at 10:41 this morning with the caller reporting a collision between a camper van and a lorry on the B3400 London Road at Wells-in-the-Field near Whitchurch.
“We sent two ambulances, the Hazardous Area Response Team, a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance to the incident.
“The two occupants of the camper van – an adult male and female – were released from the vehicle with the aid of Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service. They were initially treated at the scene – the female for serious and potentially life-threatening injuries; the male for serious injuries – before both being taken by road to University Hospital Southampton.
“The air ambulance team travelled to hospital with the female patient.”
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Basingstoke, Whitchurch, Winchester and Andover were called following the road traffic collision.
They added: “The incident involving a lorry and a campervan left two casualties trapped shortly before 10:45 this morning.
“Firefighters worked to release the casualties who were passed into the care of paramedics.
“Hampshire Constabulary officers were on the scene to enforce a road closure.
“After making the scene safe, HIWFRS crews returned to station following the stop message at 11:46.”
Meanwhile a road closure is ongoing on B3400 between Lynch Hill Park and Laverstoke Lane while officers are dealing with the collision.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Officers are at the scene and a full road closure is in place between Lynch Hill Park and Laverstoke Lane. This is expected to be in place for the next few hours.”
“Early enquiries to determine the circumstances of the collision are underway and we would like to appeal to anyone that was driving through the area shortly before 10.35am and saw what happened or has dash cam footage of the incident to please contact 101 reference #0703 of today's date.”
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area until the road is cleared.
