AN ANDOVER man has been handed a community order after stealing fragrances from a shop in the town on several occasions.
Between March 25 and 31, 2022, Joshua Mundy, of Dene Court, stole items from TK Maxx on nine occasions.
The items taken were primarlily fragrances, as well as men's clippers. The total value is unknown, but on one occasion he shoplifted items worth more than £180.
At Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on July 5, the 33-year-old pleaded guilty to all counts, as well as to breaching a previous community order by committing the offences, which had been put in place for an incident of using racially-aggravated and threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
Mundy was ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months, as well as up to 15 rehabilitation activity days.
He must also pay costs of £40 and a £95 surcharge.
