Pop and rap star Betty Boo is giving an interview to a Ludgershall radio channel following her recent comeback with her new single ‘Right By Your Side’.
Betty, who is returning after a 30-year-gap, is speaking to Chris Jackson of Castledown FM in Ludgershall.
You can catch the interview on Castledown fm.com on Chris’s Alternative 80s show every Monday night 9pm and also meet Chris and radio team at The Andover Fire Station Open Day on July 31.

Chris said Betty is talking about her comeback single and the 30-year gap since her amazing Brit award win.
As an avid fan of Betty in the late 80s and 90s Chris said he had a great time catching up with her and getting her onto his radio show to talk about her journey and new music.
Chris said: “Betty was a real treasure to chat with. We spoke about all things hip hop and pop and the good old days of the radio one roadshow where she shared her day flying into the crowd by helicopter to perform in front of thousands at the roadshow which of course toured the UK beaches every summer.”
“Her Brit award for best newcomer in 1991 was quite something to achieve and here we are now in 2022 – 31 years later and she now has a new audience to enjoy her music and talents with her new single, Right By Your Side. It’s already massive on download platform Spotify and with a tour and new album on the way in October, it’s fair to say Betty Boo is back and doing the doo all over again.”
