THERE are only two weeks left to visit Mecca Bingo Andover before it shuts its doors for good.
The bingo hall will close on August 14 following the sale of the site in 2021.
The bingo hall, which is located in Junction Road, is closing following a consultation.
John Dyson, operations director at Mecca Bingo, said: “We are currently in discussions with our team about the proposed closure of Mecca in Andover next month.
“Mecca Andover has been part of the local community for many years, and at this stage we want to say a huge thank you to every single one of our incredible customers who continue to visit the club.”

The site that Mecca Bingo Andover sits on was sold in September 2021. It is currently not known who purchased the site.
Mecca Bingo originated in the 1960s as a way of filling dance halls, which were falling out of fashion at the time.
The game became popular across the UK, with bingo halls springing up all over the country including in Andover.
It was bought in the 1990s by Rank, which still owns the company to this day.
