A SPECIAL educational needs school near Andover has installed a selection of brand new equipment after asking its community for their views.
School council members at Grateley House School requested the new parkland equipment. Student views were gathered, and they requested more age-appropriate apparatus.
The school was then able to install a bouldering wall, a shelter, a basket swing and a new set of typical swings.
An annual Celebration Day took place on the July 21, which saw pupils and their families enjoy the new equipment.

A spokesperson for Cambian Group, the specialist education provider which runs the school, said: "It has been great to see students enjoying this new provision at school. It was a lovely, sunny day as we set up to welcome parents and families on site for the first time in three years to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our young people here at Grateley House School.
"We celebrated and recognised the huge successes of the students over the last academic year. Alongside some very sad goodbyes to those who were leaving us, ready to embark on the next stage of their lives.
"Every single one of them will be deeply missed but we wish them the best of luck in their next adventures. Both students, families and staff enjoyed a BBQ to finish off the celebrations before heading off to enjoy the Summer break. It was a very special day for everyone involved here at GHS and we were able to reflect on the brilliant progress Grateley House School has made and we look forward to what the next academic year will bring."
