A COMMUNITY football club in Andover has appointed a new chairman and secretary at its recent Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Streets Ahead recently held its AGM and presentation evening. At the AGM a new committee was elected, as Sue Simmonds retired after being a founding member since the club started in 2007.
Dave Jordan was elected as the new chairman and Lynda Richmond as the new secretary. Other committee members remained the same.
Following the meeting, members of the junior group were presented with their trophies. Sue was thanked for her work as secretary and presented with a card and gifts. Also at the evening was the former coach Domininc Calvert who was presented with his gifts.
The club hopes to restart an adult section next season, along with developing the junior side.
As with all clubs, Streets Ahead relies on volunteers to coach or assist and would welcome anyone interested in helping, with full training given.
For further information contact Lynda Richmond on 07805 040979 or lyndarichmond@hotmail.co.uk.
