AN ANDOVER man has admitted to drug driving in the town earlier this year.
On March 21, Ian Cheetham, of Bridge Street, drove along Western Road with a measure of 6.5microgramms of Cannabinoid THC in his blood.

He additionally had 220 microgrammes of cocaine product Benzoylecgonine in his blood, when the legal limit is 50.
At Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on July 26, the 35-year-old pleaded guilty to both offences.
The case was adjourned and he will next appear at the same court on August 24.
He was remanded on unconditional bail with an interim driving disqualification.
AN ANDOVER man has been handed a community order for failing to provide a breath test when asked.
On June 28, Scott Campbell, of Winchester Road, was believed to be the driver of a vehicle in Basingstoke, and failed to provide a breath sample when requested “without reasonable excuse”.
At Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on July 26, the 33-year-old pleaded guilty.
He was handed a community order comprising 80 hours of unpaid work.
He must also pay a £95 surcharge and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.
AN ANDOVER man has been ordered to pay more than £350 in total for speeding on the A303.
On June 11, Nicholas Simon Bennett, of Berry Way, was driving on the A303 dual carriageway in Somerset at a speed exceeding 76mph.
At Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on July 28, the 51-year-old pleaded guilty and was fined £230.
He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 surcharge, while his driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.
AN ANDOVER man has been handed a community sentence after breaching his court order three times.
On August 2 at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court, Kevin Lewis, of Constable Court, pleaded guilty to breaching his non-molestation order by contacting a woman he was prohibited from doing so, on January 7, 2021, May 31, 2021 and July 12, 2021.
He was handed a community order comprising 225 hours of unpaid work, a 29-day Building Better Relationships programme, and up to 15 rehabilitation activity days.
The 45-year-old must also pay costs of £200 and a £95 surcharge.
