A FIRE destroyed 30 acres of crops near Andover yesterday.
Crews from three fire stations attended the blaze in Holt Lane, Tangley yesterday.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire Service said: "Firefighters from Whitchurch, Winchester and DWFRS were called at 2.48pm yesterday afternoon after a blaze involving 30-acres of standing crop in a field on Holt Lane in Tangley.

"Support vehicles from Fareham and Andover were also mobilised as the HIWFRS Control Room received more than 20 emergency calls reporting the fire.
"The crops were destroyed in the blaze which was extinguished using hose reels and beaters.
"The incident was handed over to the land owner following the stop message at 4.24pm."
