A NEW cafe has opened in Andover by the owners of popular SP cocktail bar.
Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Cllr Phil North, attended the opening on August 12.
In a Facebook post, Cllr North said: "Good luck to Stephanie and Ricky Pledge - the proud owners of the new Riverside Cafe. I was privileged to be asked to cut the ribbon on their new venture.
"When we opened the Riverside Park last year, it struck me that the former Just Kutz unit would make a perfect location for a high quality café and that’s exactly what Steph and Ricky have delivered. Serving artisan coffees, sumptuous sandwiches and refreshing ice creams. Topped off with the amazing new signage sculpted by Hurstbourne Forge. If this is the type of quality they can deliver in this location then I can’t wait for them to open their new cocktail bar in the lower Guildhall later this year.

"The Riverside Park is now such a lovely, vibrant part of the town centre - and to get a great new café in there to sit alongside the ever popular Town Mills pub with its beautifully refurbished garden is the perfect addition.
"Please do check it out. You won’t be disappointed."
The café is open during the day, serving a range of quality snacks, including a choice of seven quality locally produced sandwiches daily.
