AN ANDOVER man will stand trial next year accused of causing grievous bodily harm to another man on Christmas Eve.
David Nicholls, of Launcelot Close, is charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent. It is alleged that, on December 24, 2021, he “unlawfully and maliciously” caused grievous bodily harm to the man with intent to do so.

Appearing at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, August 17, Nicholls pleaded not guilty to both counts.
The 40-year-old remains on unconditional bail until his trial, which has been provisionally set for February 20, 2023 at the same court.
