AN MAN has died following an incident on the railway line at Monxton near Andover.
Detectives are urgently appealing for information to identify the man, but the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
A British Transport police spokesperson said: “At 1.12am on Monday 15 August, officers were called to the line near Monxton following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious, but despite extensive enquiries officers have been unable to identify the man and trace his family to inform them of this sad news.
“The man was found wearing blue jeans with a brown belt and a dark blue t-shirt. He was wearing Clarks shoes, size 10, and has brown hair which is grey at the roots.
