THE latest sponsor of a Pride of Andover 2022 category has been announced by the organising team.
The Services Award recognises an individual or team from the public or private sector who has gone beyond the remit of their job or position to make a positive impact on people’s lives and will this year be sponsored by The DeeDee Trust.
Sultan Sid Dajani from The DeeDee Trust said: “'The DeeDee Trust is sponsoring The Pride of Andover Awards for the second year running. There are two reasons we feel that it is important to support this event. First of all, it is a great feel-good factor for the community. Along with great fellow sponsors, the nominations always interest and inspire me.
“Secondly, without services we wouldn't have teams, with no teams, we have no consistency going forward,. These are not just awards for today but also to inspire our future generations.
“If we don't work together, we don't pull together,. If we don't pull together, we will never get through together, and that is why it is so important.”
