AN ANDOVER man has been handed a community sentence after admitting to harassing a woman in the town.
On February 23, Stephen McGrath, of Highlands Road, knowingly pursued a course of conduct which amounted to harassment of the woman.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on August 15, the 33-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.

A restraining order was put in place which prohibits McGrath from contacting the woman or entering the area where she lives.
He must also complete a 19-day Thinking Skills programme and up to 15 rehabilitation activity days, and pay costs of £85 and a £95 surcharge.
