ANDOVER's mayor paid a visit to the town's flower club to invite the members to the Andover’s Summer Fayre that will be held on Saturday, August 27.
Cllr David Coole, who is also one of the directors of Our Andover CIC that is organising the fayre, visited Andover Flower Club to see their works and also invite them to join the activities at Vigo Road Recreation Ground.
However, the club members informed the mayor that they are unable to join the event this year, but they hope to be invited to join in 2023.#

The flower club met for their annual ‘Ready, Steady, Arrange’ meeting earlier this month.
Before starting the workshop, the members enjoyed a home-prepared picnic and welcomed two visitors from All Saint’s and Winchester flower clubs.
All members were present, and they provided a bunch of supermarket flowers not exceeding £5 in value.
Cakes and teas were provided at the end of the meeting.

Members will provide their own arrangements with the title of ‘Happy Days’.
