A YOUNG entrepreneur from Andover has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.

Dmitrijs Meiksans, owner of Demo Consultancies, has made the finals of the Future Talent of The Year Award at the 2022 Central South Business Awards.

The 16-year-old said: “Wow - I am quite speechless, and thankful to all the amazing people that have supported me through this process of me starting up my own sole tradership.

"Especially Amie and the whole team at IncuHive who have not only been there for me from pretty much day one but have always given their support to any and all events and projects that I have run.”

Demo Consultancies is a multimedia marketing agency, supporting businesses and organisations with their marketing requirements, such as graphic design, social media management, website design and event planning.

The business has supported several events in Andover, including the Andover Summer Fayre, Andover Festival of Motoring, A-Fest and GeekFest.

Its clients have also included organisations such as Unity, the Andover NHS Primary Care Network and the Hampshire Music Service.

The Central South Business Awards, run in association with Business South, celebrates all of the remarkable businesses in the region and the people who work for them.

Dmitrijs will find out if he is a winner at a gala event held at The Ageas Bowl in Southampton on September 28, hosted by comedian and star of ITV’s hit show The Chase, Paul Sinha.
