A NEW fried chicken shop specialising in halal chicken has opened in Andover.
Located on Station Approach, Roosters sells a range of food, including halal chicken, burgers, wraps and more.
Shop manager Raj Humnabad said that Roosters main selling point is that all of its chicken products are halal, boosting that it offers "flavours you can not get anywhere else in this town."
He continued: “We have a separate seller, a separate supplier, and we buy from halal people, halal chicken.”

The restaurant offers KFC style chicken, with Raj’s business partner Joby Jacob having previous experience with the company.
Raj said that the business, which opened at the end of July, had already seen some success, and stated his belief that Roosters will see more business during the coming months.
He said: “People are very curious.
“This is a holiday time, when we opened, and that’s why we feel like it was a bit quiet, but now somebody always wants to try it.
“Moving forwards, it is going to be busy in the winter.”
The business is currently running a promotion for first time customers, offering 10 percent off orders of £20 or more.
