STUDENTS have arrived back at Portway Junior School this academic year to be greeted by their new headteacher.
Vicky Windross has taken up the role and has over 25 years teaching and leadership experience in Hampshire schools, with many of these being based in Andover.
She said: “I am delighted to be the new headteacher at Portway Junior School and feel extremely honoured to have been chosen to continue to build upon the success the school has already achieved under the leadership of Mr Deery. It has been a privilege to be the deputy headteacher for this lovely school and now, to be the headteacher, is the start of a whole new adventure.”
