A PROVISIONAL licence holder in Andover, who 'had popped out to get a dip', was stopped by police and tested positive for drugs.
The incident was reported by the Hampshire Roads Policing Unit on September 12.
The unit tweeted: "This Andover provisional licence holder didn’t expect to get stopped even though they knew they didn’t have L plates or insurance. They’d “only just popped out for dip for their crisps”! Why so hungry late at night? Maybe it explains the positive roadside drug test for cannabis."
