AFTER only opening in August an Andover cafe is temporarily closed after being broken into and burgled.
Owners Stephanie and Ricky Pledge closed the Riverside Cafe along Bridge Street on Thursday. September 15 due to attending a funeral.
When it came to opening the following day, Friday, September 16, they were shocked to see that their business had been broken into and burgled.

The windows were left smashed, their CCTV was broken and the till was broken into with £300 taken.
Stephanie said: "I don't understand why someone would break into a cafe and because we are an independent, family-run business, everything is just affected that little bit more by what has happened.
"We wanted to make the town centre aware that this has happened. It has all just come as a massive shock and dissapointment, especially since we have only recently opened as well."
When Stephanie and Ricky, who also own SP Bar, realised what had happened to their cafe they received help from various councillors who were in the local area at the time and also called the police.
They have since seen both the police and a forensics team who have come to the cafe to investigate what happened.
Whilst the owners wait for their new till and paint inside of the cafe, which was damaged by their windows being smashed, the cafe is temporarily closed.
