A PETROL station on the A303 was closed off after a lorry caught fire near the forecourt.
Crews from Andover and Whitchurch were called to the petrol station on the eastbound carriageway at 7.48pm near to the Longparish exit.
A lorry carrying tyres caught alight near the forecourt of the garage.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reels to stop the blaze before returning to station at 8.47pm.
