AN ANDOVER man has been disqualified after he was caught over the drink drive limit.
Alan Pannell, of Venice Court, was stopped on the A303 westbound near Barton Stacey on May 23 driving a white Renault Kangoo.
The 45-year-old had 117 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood – the legal limit is 80.
During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court Pannell pleaded guilty to the offence.
He was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £400. Pannell must also pay £85 court costs and £40 victim surcharge.
