A MULTI-award-winning pub in Test Valley is celebrating Oktoberfest in style with a German-themed party planned.
Crown Inn chef and owner Dave Watts and his team will be offering beers from Germany and local ales and serving delicious Oktoberfest street foods and a barbecue at the pub in Upton on Saturday, October 15.
The celebrations start at 1pm and go on through to late evening. There will be music from local and regional bands all afternoon and evening.
A pub spokesperson said: “The event promises to be a great fun-filled afternoon and evening and great value for money with free entry (not including food and drink).”
Dave would love people to really get into the spirit of the occasion by dressing up in traditional Oktoberfest costume - Lederhosen, Dirndl skirts and other suitable gear, but says fancy dress is not a requirement.
